Lots of news here. If you’re in NYC, we’d love to see you at the festival premiere of our short film, KEEN, Sunday at 2pm at the New York International Independent Film and Video Festival! Our amazing director, Jimmy McDermott,

has just received TWO simultaneous nominations from the Joseph Jefferson Awards Committee for ‘Best Director’ of the productions of ‘Boojum: Nonsense, Truth and Lewis Carrol’ with Caffeine Theatre (With a total of 7 nominations!) and for ‘The Three Faces of Doctor Crippin’ by Emily Schwartz with Strange Tree Group (One of my favorites). Lots of amazing things going on back in Chicago, including the opening of Shattered Globes newest show, ‘Romeo and Juliet’.

Tickets are still available for the 6:30 pm performance in the John Hancock Observatory downtown Sunday May 1. Also this week – if you’re in NYC, please go see my multi-talented friend and collaborator, Paul Perroni in the premiere of Baltimore in Black and White at The Cell Theatre! AND the Brilliant Josh Lerner will be starring in ‘We Shall Not Be Moved’ (a new musical) at Union Pool in Brooklyn at 8PM on Sunday night, May 1st. And finally – I got to take a look at more of the incredible new work coming from Eve Knutsen – can’t discuss at the moment but let’s just say it’s pretty incredible. More to report soon…
